The Museum is now open 10.00 to 3.00 Wednesday to Sunday
The Society is a volunteer organization that collects documentary materials relating to the Indigenous, local, ethnic and family history of the Sunshine Coast region. It offers research facilities to the community; and undertakes research, and where applicable, publishes historical aspects of the area.
The Society also assists the Sunshine Coast Council to promote the Landsborough Museum and exhibit the stories of the region. Entry to the museum is free.
It has a committee comprising a President, Secretary and Treasurer and its members meet quarterly, or more regularly if required. The Society is located at the Landsborough Museum, which is managed by the Sunshine Coast Council.
